  • Specialises in patent filings, trademark registrations, and design rights protection among other IP rights.

Your function

As an IP Paralegal, you will join a dedicated team where collaboration and precision are at the forefront of daily operations. In this role, you will support the management of administrative and organizational tasks related to the maintenance and acquisition of patents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the administrative aspects of legal procedures for patent maintenance and acquisition.
  • Managing correspondence with national and international clients, agents, and authorities, including the European Patent Office.
  • Ensuring accurate registration and ongoing management of patent terms.
  • Executing basic accounting duties to support financial operations of IP management.
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks to assist the legal team.
  • Maintaining organized records and documentation to support patent attorneys.
  • Supporting the team in meeting tight deadlines and compliance requirements.
  • Contributing to a high-performance culture by enhancing efficiency and organization.

Your profile

  • You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.
  • You are open to training towards certification as a "Formalities Officer."
  • You are native in French or Dutch and have a good understanding of the other, with an excellent command of English.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Your client-focused attitude and excellent organizational skills set you apart.
  • Previous experience in legal procedures or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • You are a proactive team player capable of working independently.
  • You are enthusiastic about contributing to a growing team and adapting to new challenges.
