Commercial Legal Counsel
Your function
Within the Legal & compliance Team of our client you will:

Advise internal clients on legal implications, risks and opportunities associated with commercial transactions, business operations and projects (inc. issues associated with contracts, transactions, litigation, trade, distribution, fair competition, and business practices etc.)

Draft, review, negotiate contracts for customers, suppliers and business partners.

Support dispute resolution processes.

Supervise and ensure compliance of corporate law matters

Create legal templates and guidelines. Support the implementation of compliance policies and the development of a compliance culture.

Support legal projects such as drafting standard documentation.
Your profile
-
Master's law degree obtained in Belgium;
-
From 4 to 8 years of relevant experience as lawyer or as an in-house Legal Counsel;

Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French with a good knowledge of English. Additional knowledge of French or Dutch (respectively) is an asset;

A mature, flexible and commercially oriented approach;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and can work in a demanding and fast-moving environment;

Capability and will to defend the company's best interest;

Flexibility and efficiency.
